This is very beautiful and rare Blue Lace Agate from Namibia, Africa.This is excellent quality material directly from the source with very good banded lace patterns and desirable blue color.Blue Lace Agate is classified as a finely banded blue chalcedony.It is considered rare in the sense that the color blue is rare in nature and Blue Lace Agate is one of only a few blue colored gemstones (i.e., sapphire and aquamarine) found in nature. This material will make some wonderful cabachons and hence, some lovely jewelry pieces!
